Caroline Thompson (born April 23, 1956) is an American novelist, dramatist, film director, and producer. She wrote the screenplays for the Tim Burton-directed films Edward Scissorhands and Corpse Bride and the Burton-produced The Nightmare Beforehand Christmas.
